Who we are

Optimal Waste Intelligence is a publication by Renewable Waste Energy, LLC. This site publishes articles about waste-to-energy technology and circular economy practices. We don't sell anything directly on this site.

What we collect

Very little.

• Cookies — We set a small cookie when you click "Yes" or "No" on the article feedback widget. That's it. It stores your response so we don't ask you again. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies.
• Analytics — Cloudflare, our hosting provider, collects basic visitor stats (page views, country, browser type). This is aggregated data — we can't identify individual visitors from it. We don't run Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.
• Server logs — Standard web server logs (IP address, pages visited, timestamps) are kept by Cloudflare for security and performance purposes. We don't mine these for marketing.

What we don't do

• We don't collect email addresses or personal information through this site
• We don't use advertising or retargeting pixels
• We don't sell or share data with third parties
• We don't use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking

Changes

If we add anything that collects more data (like a newsletter signup), we'll update this page. For a site that publishes articles, there's not much to change.
